Parental Consent: Young Leader Whats App Community

To ensure effective communication regarding 1st Little Paxton Scout Group activities, we use a private Whats App chat for our Young Leaders, which is part of our Scout Group Whats App Community. This group allows for quick updates, training information, and collaboration on Scouting events. The 1st Little Paxton Whats App Community is for the volunteers of 1st Little Paxton Scout Group who are CRB/DBS checked. 

By providing consent below, you agree that:

• Safeguarding: The group will be monitored by at least two adult volunteers at all times to ensure compliance with the Scout Yellow Card Code of Conduct. This will be The Lead Volunteer (Rhys Thomas) and the Group Young Leaders Lead (Neil Sealey)
• No 1:1 Contact: There will be no private, one-to-one messaging between adult volunteers and Young Leaders.
• Data Privacy: Your child’s mobile number will be visible to other members of the whats App community. Participation is voluntary, and members can leave the group at any time. 
• Appropriate Conduct: All members are expected to follow Scout Values—integrity, respect, care, belief, and cooperation—in all digital communications.

By completing the form below, I give permission for my child to join the 1st Little Paxton Scout Group Young Leaders Whats App and the 1st Little Paxton Scout Group Whats App community. I have read and understood the safeguarding and privacy protocols.
