Welcome to 1st Little Paxton Beaver Colony,

Beaver Scouts are aged between 6 – 8yrs old and are the second 

section in the Scouting Movement, 

We hope you are looking forward to your journey at our Beaver 

Colony. As a Beaver you will participate on exciting adventures, 

discovering hidden talents, explore the world around you and 

learn new skills for life. 

At Beavers, we have four main aims for each young person to 

succeed. 

• Ensure all Beavers have an equal opportunity to take part in 

every session and activity we provide.

• To ensure all Beavers have the opportunity to achieve the 

highest award. (The Chief Scout Bronze Award).

• To continue to develop survival and life skills that can be used 

in later life.

• To provide fun, safe and enjoyable activities.
