Welcome to 1st Little Paxton Squirrel Drey.

Squirrels are aged between 4 – 6yrs old and are the first section in the 

Scouting Movement, 

We hope you are looking forward to your young person’s journey at our 

Squirrel Drey. As a Squirrel they will participate on exciting adventures, 

discovering hidden talents, explore the world around you and learn new skills 

for life. 

At Squirrels we have four main aims for each Squirrel to succeed. 

• Ensure all young people have an equal opportunity to take part in every 

session and activity we provide.

• To ensure all Squirrels achieve the highest award. (The Chief Scout 

Award).

• To continue to develop survival and life skills that can be used in later 

life.

• To provide fun, safe and enjoyable activities. 

Squirrels is one of the four sections that make up 1st Little Paxton Scout 

Group.
